Thank you for supporting the Valley County Sheriff Foundation. Your generosity helps us fulfill our mission and create meaningful impact. Please review our policy regarding returns and refunds:
1. General Policy
- All donations made to Valley County Sheriff Foundation are final and non-refundable.
- Donations are considered gifts to support our charitable mission and are not payment for goods or services.
2. Exceptions
Refunds may be issued only under these circumstances:
- Event Cancellation: If you purchased a ticket or paid for participation in a fundraising event that is canceled.
- Misuse of Funds: If the terms of a donation agreement are substantially violated.
3. How to Request a Refund
- Submit your request in writing within 30 days of the donation date.
- Include your name, donation amount, date, and reason for the refund.

4. Processing Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days using the original payment method.
- Large donations may require additional verification and legal review.
5. Tax Considerations
If you claimed a tax deduction for a refunded donation, you are responsible for amending your tax return as required by law.
6. Our Commitment
We adhere to the highest ethical standards in fundraising and financial stewardship. For significant donations, we recommend a written agreement that includes our refund policy.
